The City Government of Bacoor and DTI-Cavite officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) on June 15, 2026, at the S.T.R.I.K.E. Gymnasium, marking another milestone in empowering the next generation of Bacooreño entrepreneurs.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod and attended by key officials from both the local government and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Representing the City Government of Bacoor were Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, and LEDIPO Department Head Ms. Kathrina J. Sanchez. Representing DTI-Cavite was Provincial Director Ms. Lilibeth R. Chavez, who highlighted the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills among young people as a catalyst for economic growth and innovation.
The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) aims to introduce entrepreneurship at an early age by providing young individuals with essential business knowledge, practical skills, and valuable learning opportunities. Through this partnership, aspiring entrepreneurs will gain access to training programs, mentorship opportunities, and support services designed to help transform their ideas into successful business ventures.
