The DSWD Field Office IV-A has already distributed a total of PhP455.49M as cash relief assistance to 91,097 tricycle drivers in the CALABARZON Region as of April 17, 2026, 5:00 PM.

Of this number, 17,821 tricycle drivers received this assistance today, April 17, 20206, in simultaneous payout activities in seven cities and five municipalities in the region.

These include the cities of Lipa and Sto. Tomas (Batangas), Dasmariñas (Cavite), Biñan, Cabuyao and San Pedro (Laguna), and Antipolo (Rizal) and the municipalities of San Luis (Batangas), Dolores, General Luna and Gumaca (Quezon), and Rodriguez (Rizal).

“Gagamitin ko ang natanggap ko na assistance para sa pangsuporta sa aking pamilya at kabuhayan, pambili ng bigas at gasolina,” shared Renato Roldan, 48, a tricycle driver from General Luina, Quezon, who received the assistance earlier today.

He also shared his gratitude and appreciation for the efficient and smooth flow of the distribution of the cash relief assistance in their municipality.

In the succeeding weeks, more tricycle drivers are targeted to be reached by the DSWD in more localities in the region.
