In ensuring the provision of healthcare services to the constituents in need, the Provincial Government of Cavite, through Office of the Provincial Governor – Extension, coordinated with Councilor Walter Martinez in the recent conduct of medical mission program at Sunny Brooke II, Brgy. San Francisco, City of General Trias, on April 12, 2023.

The medical mission catered 582 patients and provided much-needed assistance, including medical check-ups and consultations rendered through the joint efforts of Cavite PHO technical team, composed of Dr. Promise Joy Tio, Dr. Raven Joshua Tolentino, nurses and midwives, and General Trias City Health Office, with Dr. Cherry L. Aspuria and Dr. Rubie Iso-Lumbre. Likewise, OPG-Extension staff assisted the patients in the venue proper and distributed free prescribed medicines and vitamin supplements.

The Federation of Citizen Crime Watch – Special Task Force – Trece Martires City Chapter and Barangay Public Safety Officers were also present to help in the organization and smooth operation of the aforementioned program.

In conclusion, Councilor Tey Martinez expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Jonvic Remulla and to the PGC for the continuous effort of bringing  healthcare services closer to Gentriseños, as it is a big help to the less fortunate locals.(picad)
