Sisimulan na ang pagpapatayo ng 32 kilometrong Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge sa katapusan ng taong 2023, ayon kay Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan.

“The detailed engineering is now ongoing; it’s about 70 percent complete. We told the President it would be ready within the year to ground break the implementation of this very significant bridge,” aniya.

“We will try to have this completed before the term of the President ends,” dagdag pa ng DPWH Chief.

Ang nasabing inter-island bridge project ay magkakaroon ng apat na lane na tatawid sa Manila Bay hanggang Corregidor Island at inaasahang makakabawas ng malaking oras sa pagbyahe papunta sa nasabing mga probinsya.(go cavite)
