Present during the event were  Senior Vice President for Customer Relations Service SCMC Almus Alabe, Senior Assistant Vice President for Customer Relations Service of SM Retail Charleston Tan, Assistant Vice President for Customer Relations Services of Food and Retail Group Victor Santiago, and Region 4A Chief SAGS, RCSU Police Major Vicente Tarioa ,Jr.

The Customer Relations Service Division conducted the Joint Tactical Inspection (JTI) of all SM Malls in Laguna last February 2, 2023 at the SM City Calamba to assure mall patrons are safe and secured every time they go visit and shop at SM.
 
This annual exercise is to inspect and check the readiness of the security guards, housekeeping personnel assigned in SM Supermalls, SM Retail Group, and its affiliates. During the JTI, uniforms and equipment were checked and inspected to conform to the standards set by the company and the minimum requirements of the Philippine National Police Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA).The inspection is done individually, from head to foot, following very distinct and unique procedures.

 This aims to strengthen the commitment of our security, maintenance and housekeeping agencies to a stronger ties with the mall as it continuously provides safety and security to all its customers, employees, and tenants keeping it well maintained  for a truly world class shopping destination
 

One of the event highlights is the recognition of security, maintenance and housekeeping personnel who exemplified honesty and trustworthiness by returning valuable recovered items, like cellphones, wallets and bags containing cash. They were all commended during the event. (NINA WONG)
