In a remarkable display of community service and compassion, medical volunteers from the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital, Naic Rural Health Unit and Naic Medicare came together on June 13, 2023, to conduct a highly impactful medical mission in Brgy. Calubcob, Naic. The collaborative effort provided essential healthcare services to more than 200 individuals.
The medical mission served as a lifeline for many residents who lack regular access to healthcare facilities due to various socio-economic factors. With the combined expertise and dedication of the volunteers, the event witnessed an outpouring of support from the community and proved to be a resounding success.
Medical services included general check-ups and distribution of free prescription medicines. The presence of trained medical professionals also enabled early detection and timely intervention for potentially serious conditions.
In addition to primary healthcare services, the medical mission placed a strong emphasis on health education and preventive measures. Patients were educated about basic hygiene practices, nutrition, and the importance of regular check-ups.—picad
