BULIL’EATS FEEDING PROGRAM LAUNCHES 50-DAY SUPPLEMENTARY FEEDING PROGRAM IN BACOOR

Bacoor, Cavite – The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, launched a 50-day Supplementary Feeding Program yesterday, September 17, 2024, at the Sinbanali covered court. The program, a collaborative effort between the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Miss Liliane Ugalde, the City Environment Service Department (CESD) led by Mr. Rollie Vocalan, and the Office of the City Health Services (OCHS) under Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, aims to address malnutrition among children in Bacoor.

The event was attended by key figures including Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, CESD Consultant Maam Theresa Calo, and representatives from various barangays, including Kapitan Caridad Sanchez of Sinbanali, Kapitan Edwin Gawaran of Kaingen-Digman, Kapitan Randy Francisco of Poblacion, Kapitan Edwin Torres of Zapote 3, Kapitan Roland Loiue Ugalde of Maliksi 1, Kapitan Levi Dizon of Maliksi 2, and Kapitan Rodolfo Baรฑas of Talaba 2. Also present were City Nutritionist Miss Tin Tin Elalto, representatives from Robinson Land, Frabelle Food Group, Frabelle Properties, and Diamond Export Corporation.

The program targets children from seven (7) Child Development Centers in Bacoor and aims to provide them with nutritious meals for 50 days. The program is part of the City Government’s commitment to ensuring proper nutrition for its citizens, monitoring and addressing malnutrition, and celebrating Environmental Awareness Month. The event highlighted the importance of protecting the environment to safeguard every home.

The launch of the Bulil’Eats Feeding Program signifies a significant step towards improving the well-being of children in Bacoor. This initiative underscores the City Government’s dedication to providing comprehensive support and ensuring a brighter future for its youngest residents.
