To mark a significant step towards a healthier Philippines, the Cavite province, under the leadership of Governor Jonvic Remulla, was given the privilege to host the Turnover Ceremony and Distribution of Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics (BPMC) to 16 provinces of Regions IV and V at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, on July 17, 2024.

The event was initiated by the First Lady of the Philippines, Atty. Liza Araneta Marcos, through the Department of Health, as a response to the much-needed medical care of the Filipinos, especially those in the underserved communities and remote areas.

These BPMC vans are equipped with machines and apparatus to bring vital healthcare services closer to the constituents. The services include X-ray, Ultrasound-Electrocardiogram test, Blood screening, and other laboratory tests and procedures.

Senator Francis Tolentino, Governor Jonvic Remulla, Vice Governor Athena Tolentino and the Mayors of Cavite graciously welcome the First Lady, honorable governors and DOH representatives upon their arrival at the venue, expressing their enthusiasm for hosting such an important event in the province. Cavite is one of the 16 provincesโ€™ recipients of the Bagong Pilipinas mobile clinics.

The BPMC project is part of the LAB for ALL initiative of the First Lady, underscoring their support and commitment for the delivery of accessible primary healthcare services across the country.

โ€œSama-sama tayong babangon muli para sa Bagong Pilipinas.โ€ FL Marcos stated.
