MARIKINA CITY—a year after its groundbreaking ceremony, the Marikina City NACIDA Incubator Facility Building is taking shape, as the Department of Public Works and Highways Metro Manila 1st District Engineering Office under the leadership of ENGR ARISTOTLE B RAMOS, District Engineer, ENGR LAMBERTO C DE LEON, Assistant District Engineer and its Personnel recently reports 89% physical accomplishment as of present.
Once completed, the building project initiated by Marikina City 2nd District Representative, Cong. Stella Luz Quimbo will start servicing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the city. The facility will benefit start-up businesses, especially the shoe industry of Marikina in creating more opportunities to grow their business, and attract investments.
The project with a total area of 6,500 square meters in its six-story floor levels was designed to have spaces designated for a government one-step-shop area, showrooms, restaurants, conference rooms, laboratory room, garden deck and roof deck area to accommodate gathering for larger crowd.(Dpwhpiophoto/Renante Arjay Jarobel/Marjorie Mahusay)
