CITY OF MANILA—starting October 25, 2023 to November 13, 2023, the Department of Public Works and Highways – North Manila District Engineering Office under the leadership of ENGR GERARD P OPULENCIA, District Engineer announce that they will conduct road concreting and reblocking works in the westbound directions of R. Magsaysay Boulevard between the intersection of Old Sta. Mesa Street to Altura Street.

The road rehabilitation works will inevitably cause a partial road closure with a 79.70-meter total length and a width of 3.55 meters per lane. Mobilization of equipment will take effect on the above-mentioned date, with the breaking and hauling of existing concrete asphalt pavement, base preparation, pouring and curing of concrete pavement, and thermoplastic pavement markings along the whole stretch and span of the project. Motorists are advised of traffic slowdowns in the affected areas and to use possible alternate routes.
