𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 25, 2026 | 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 — Reinforcing its commitment to transparency, accountability, and lasting community impact, DOST CALABARZON, through DOST Cavite, conducted a comprehensive Equipment Tagging and Project Monitoring activity across the municipalities of Maragondon, Magallanes, and Indang.

The initiative covered key partner-beneficiaries, including LGU Maragondon, Likhang Maragondon, Barangay Tua Farmers Association (BATUFA) Cooperative in Magallanes, and Daine 1 & 2 Farmers Association in Indang. The team also visited Habing Maragondon and Ramirez Upland Farmers Association, Inc. (RUFAI) in Magallanes to assess ongoing operations and evaluate the utilization and condition of previously deployed equipment.

More than a routine inspection, the activity underscored DOST’s hands-on approach to development. Equipment tagging ensured proper identification, documentation, and accountability of government-funded resources. Meanwhile, on-site monitoring enabled the team to directly engage beneficiaries, validate improvements in productivity and efficiency, and determine how technological interventions have strengthened operations since their deployment.
