Nitong Tuesday, pinuri ni President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang kauna-unahang grid-connected, utility-scale solar rooftop project built sa loob ng isang socialized housing community sa Cavite province. Tinagurian niya itong benchmark’ accelerated transition ng ating bansa towards renewable energy.

Ininspeksyon ng Pangulo ang 6.55-megawatt (MW) peak Ning*Ning solar rooftop power facility saPasinaya Homes Prime Central sa Naic, developed by the Joy~Nostalg Group through Jin Navitas Solaris Inc. at Raemulan Lands Inc.

“This initiative lights up homes and the path forward to the country’s energy transition,” Marcos said.

The facility taps the rooftops of 1,986 households, each carrying six solar panels.
